A couple of Neighbors and I are having an Open Studio at my place on December 6. It’s an experiment. The other two artists do 3-D work, in wood and found objects, so it should be a fun match.
However, that means — I’m working.
Here’s what one studio wall looks like at the moment:
I still have a ways to go, with framing as well as painting. The pile of half-finished work grows daily — Friday I did another painting session down by the Hawthorne Bridge. The work hasn’t sat quite long enough to be revealed to the world yet. I’m also showing at da Vinci Middle School — on December 6th (and 7th) — so I have double the trouble.
Whatever would I do without trouble? –June
