Social obligations call, so this is brief:
Here’s my painting from Thursday (Friday’s is very bad indeed):
Ladd Mountain, East from the Red Barn, 12 x 16″, oil on board, Feb 19, 2009
I have a wonderful photo of a gentleman I met while painting the Exchange Club/Hardware store, but I’ll save it for another time.
Ladd Mountain has been heap leach mined — look it up on Google for more info. Or wait until I get a photo of the side you can’t see from the Red Barn. It’s a sight to make sore eyes.
Now we are off to meet other members of the woodcutting workshop, starting in a few hours in the Red Barn. Maybe I’ll paint the woodcutters instead of actually doing the workshop.
