At this point, the Grapevine Mountains take over in the west, and there are smaller lumps that intrude in front of them. This makes the painter sigh with relief. At last a shape to be painted. At the same time, the land in the direction of the Grapevines starts to rise into the painter’s view, so a foreground develops. Ahhhhhhhhh. Foliage that can be painted. –June
